Правила доменов .MA
If you want to start a website based in Morroco, you will need to register a .ma domain name. The following guidelines will help you in the process of formal registration of an .ma website. The .ma is the top-level domain (ccTLD) for Morocco, a country in North Africa. The .ma domain extension is officially managed by ANRT (L'Agence Nationale de Réglementation des Télécommunications).
There aren't any restrictions attached to registering a .ma domain name. Foreign companies and individuals can register their websites with a .ma extension. However, there are certain binding legal and technical regulations. Domain names beginning or ending with a hyphen and those containing less than three or more than 63 characters are not accepted. Additionally, domain names should contain only 'a-z', 'A-Z', '0-9' and '-' characters. Capital letters and small letters are not considered distinct from each other. Any character in the domain name other than the above mentioned ones (such as '/', '?', and the space) are not acceptable. Domain names that suggest or promote any type of illegal activity are also forbidden.
Applicants are not required to submit any documents in addition to their contact information (whois). All .ma domain registrations are processed online. When the registration of a .ma domain has been completely successfully, registrants will be provided with a customer ID and a password. With this facility, registrants can access and contact the Registry for further support; this includes modification, renewal and deletion requests. The first registration is valid only for two years and allows a further renewal every subsequent second year |
